The Search

Competitive Operations Manager | July 17-August 22, 2021
Project Overview
Beasley Esports, owners of the Houston Outlaws, were looking to find the next great Rocket League Team to compete in the RLCS starting in fall 2021. So, they held an open tournament where the winning team would receive year-long contracts! The tournament was operated & produced by PAX Arena.

After the qualifiers, 16 teams were left standing to compete in the finale. The Final Four was a deep format where teams had to win multiple Best-of-X sets to win their matches. In the finals, team "Zookeepers" came out on top in a nail-biting finish in game 7 overtime of the final set. They are set to compete under contract for Beasley as "Team AXLE-R8" in the RLCS Season 11.
